Luxembourg bus company Flibco has proven that shortening the working week not only does not harm business, but can also lead to a significant increase in productivity and employee satisfaction, daily.afisha.ru reports with reference to Bild.
The transition to a four-day work week permitted the company to increase revenue by almost 50% and increase labor productivity by 69%.
The initiator of this experiment was the company's CEO Tobias Stüber, who introduced a four-day work week in 2023, while maintaining the same wage level.
The businessman is convinced that giving employees more freedom and trust encourages them to work more efficiently. The company's employees have become happier, they have more time for family and personal interests. This is evidenced, for example, by the drawing of the daughter of employee Stefanie Kaliets, who thanked the company for giving her mother more time for her.
