Within the framework of a cruise to the North Pole, expedition member Daria Panchenko performed a fragment from the world-famous ballet “Swan Lake” right on the Arctic ice. This is reported by travel.yandex.ru with reference to the Polar Travel Club on "VKontakte".
This performance can be considered the most northern ballet performance in history. Daria stood on pointe shoes almost at the very North Pole, dancing against the backdrop of the majestic nuclear icebreaker “50 Years of Victory”.
It is worth noting that the cost of a cruise on the icebreaker “50 Years of Victory” is about 2,6 million rubles. This ship is the only sea vessel making regular tourist voyages to the North Pole.
