The mascot designs are Inspired by the rich history and culture of the region, reflecting the characteristic features of local flora and fauna, as well as artifacts from the ancient Sanxingdui civilization. The traditional mascot clothing, made of shu brocade, highlights the cultural heritage of Sichuan.
The motto of the games, “Limitless Sports, Countless Wonders,” reflects the scale and diversity of the sports program. The organizers expressed the hope that this slogan will inspire athletes to reach new heights and give the audience an unforgettable experience.
From August 7 to 17, 2025, Chengdu will become a global sports center. The XII World Games will bring together more than 5,000 athletes from more than 100 countries who will compete in 35 different disciplines.
