The world's second racket Novak Djokovic won a confident victory over Rafael Nadal in the second round of the Olympic tennis tournament in Paris. The match ended with a score of 6:1, 6:4 in favor of the Serbian tennis player, who is playing in the tournament under the first seed.

This game was the 60th in the confrontation between the two tennis legends. Djokovic now has 31 victories in head-to-head meetings with Nadal, while the Spaniard has won 29 times.

37 years old Djokovic, who holds a record 24 Grand Slam men's singles titles, continues his quest for Olympic gold when he faces Germany's Dominik Koepfer in the next round.

38 years old Nadal, currently ranked 161st in the ATP rankings, despite the defeat, remains one of the most decorated tennis players in history. He has 22 victories in Grand Slam tournaments and two Olympic gold medals.

The Olympic tennis tournament in Paris will last until August 7.
