Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov accepted copies of credentials from the new Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Ashgabat Nurlan Nogaev. This is stated in the message of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
Meredov congratulated Nogayev on his appointment and assured him of support for his diplomatic mission. The parties discussed bilateral relations, noting their development on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutually beneficial partnership.
The diplomats reviewed the prospects for cooperation in the political, economic and cultural spheres. They emphasized the importance of contacts at the highest level and the effectiveness of intergovernmental, interparliamentary and interdepartmental relations.
Current issues of the regional and international agenda of mutual interest were also touched upon.
