In second place is rally newcomer Mikhail Mityaev from LADA Sport ROSNEFT Raid, 24 seconds ahead of Anton Melnikov from the Podmoskovye team. They are closely followed by three crews of the Automobile Sports Federation of Turkmenistan.
This year's race route runs through the picturesque routes of Siberia and Altai, and then goes to Mongolia. The total length of the rally will be 5256,70 km, of which 2993,24 km are high-speed sections.
