Hollywood has announced a list of celebrities who will be immortalized on the "Walk of Fame" in 2025, reports snob.ru with reference to Variety.
The selection committee considered candidates in six different categories: film, television, theater and live performance, radio, recording and sports entertainment.
Among representatives of the film industry, such actors as Jessica Chastain, Colin Farrell and Jane Fonda will receive a place of honor on the alley. Also featured in this category are Bill Duke, Robert Englund, Lisa Lu, Glynn Turman, Nia Long and Emilio Estevez.
The television world will be represented by stars Fran Drescher, Lauren Graham, Bill Nay and Molly Shannon. They are joined by Sherri Shepard, Courtney B. Vance, Chris Wallace, and "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
Football player David Beckham and baseball player Orel Hershiser will receive their stars in the "Sports Entertainment" categories.
In the "recording" category, stars will go to WAR, Depeche Mode, Los Bukis, The B-52s, Green Day and The Isley Brothers. Individual artists receiving this honor include Busta Rhymes, George Strait, Fantasia Barrino and Keith Urban. The legendary Prince will receive the star posthumously.
