In Japan, a 45-year-old gardener named Yoshiharu Watanabe exceeded all expectations by growing a clover with 63 petals on his property. This achievement became a new world record and entered Watanabe’s name in the Guinness Book of Records. This is reported by gazeta.ru with reference to UPI.

The path to the record began In 2012, when Watanabe, obsessed with breaking the record for the number of petals, began diligently caring for the clover in his garden.

He painstakingly applied various methods, combining natural and manual pollination. Despite the difficulties and setbacks, Watanabe did not give up, and his perseverance was eventually rewarded.

“People say that a four-leaf clover brings good luck, so it would be great if this 63-leaf clover brings surprise and joy to people,” the newly crowned record holder shared his feelings.
