Six sisters from Missouri, USA, officially became the holders of the title “Oldest Living Sisters” according to the Guinness Book of Records, MIR24 reports.
The combined age of Norma, Lauren, Maxine, Doris, Margaret and Elma is 571 years and 293 days, which is an absolute record.
The sisters’ ages range from 88 to 101 years. During their long lives, they have witnessed many significant events, including the Great Depression, World War II and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite their advanced age, the sisters are still full of strength and optimism. They try to stay together and regularly have family gatherings.
One of the sisters shared a fun fact: when they travel, they often wear T-shirts with numbers corresponding to their birth order.
