Employees of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the Water and Glacier Festival, which was held in the cultural and entertainment park “Javonon” in Dushanbe.
The holiday, as the basis of life, well-being, prosperity and sustainable development, was held within the framework of the Third International Conference on the International Decade of Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028”.
The Turkmen stand-tent, deployed within the framework of the festival, offered visitors an opportunity to get acquainted with the culture and traditions of Turkmenistan.
Folk crafts and Turkmen national costumes were demonstrated here.
Visitors could taste national Turkmen dishes: hot pilaf, dolma, pishme, ishlekli and much more, the press service of the Embassy reports.
