30 years ago the world of motorsport lost one of its greatest heroes - Ayrton Senna. The Brazilian driver died in a tragic accident at the San Marino Grand Prix on May 1, 1994.
In memory of Senna, the British company Amalgam has released a limited edition miniature replica of the McLaren Senna, dedicated to his record six victories in Monaco.
The 1:8 scale model with meticulously detailed exterior and interior will be a real treasure for collectors.
The Senna Semper livery combines the vibrant colors of the Brazilian flag - yellow, green and blue - using new wash technology developed by MSO. The side panels feature pop art images of Senna, and the interior is trimmed in exclusive perforated Alcantara.
The creation of each model is painstaking work, taking more than 3000 hours. The length of the miniature supercar is 59 centimeters.
The Senna Semper costs 21 385 USD.
Only 30 copies will be produced, so motorsport fans should hurry up and order. Motor.ru reports this.
