The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the 91st General Session of the Assembly of Representatives of the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH), which was held in Paris from May 26 to 30.
This year, WOAH celebrates its 100th anniversary, and the session discussed the organization's achievements and how we can work together to create a sustainable future for animal health around the world.
The candidate from the French Republic, Emmanuelle Soubeyrand, has been elected to the position of Director General of WOAH for the period 2024-2029, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
