1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting to review the progress of seasonal field work in the country. It was noted that cotton growers carefully care for cotton crops, using agricultural machinery and units in their work. In addition, preparations are underway for the grain harvesting season.
2. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an Order according to which 289 pilgrims are permitted to go to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj. The document instructs the Agency of Transport and Communications to organize a special flight to transport pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and back at the expense of the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency from June 10 to July 9.
3. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met in Astana with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The parties discussed issues of strategic partnership, including prospects for the development of cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The head of the foreign policy department conveyed greetings to the head of Kazakhstan from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
