1. National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Iranian Embassy in Ashgabat and expressed condolences to representatives of the neighboring country. 4. The Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan has approved new hunting rules. The rules regulate the timing, places, methods and standards of hunting wild animals and birds. Requirements for hunting equipment and penalties for violations have been established. Members of the Society of Hunters and Fishers have the right to hunt if they have documents, as well as persons with permits. Supervision of compliance with the rules will be carried out by officials of the Ministry and inspectors of the Society. The new rules are designed to ensure the conservation and rational use of the country's hunting resources.
5. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the Secretary General of the CIS Sergei Lebedev to discuss preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS member states in Ashgabat on May 24. The parties discussed organizational issues of holding the event. The importance of effective interaction within the Commonwealth was emphasized.

8. On May 22, the famous Turkmen mixed martial arts fighter Dovletjan Yagshimuradov celebrated his 35th birthday. A native of the Charjev district of Lebap velayat, he demonstrated a talent for martial arts from childhood. Yagshimuradov won his first title, champion of Turkmenistan in karate, at the age of 11. Dovletjan made his debut in the professional ring in 2012 and has come a long way from little-known regional promotions to high-status world organizations. To date, his record includes 22 wins, 7 losses and 1 draw in professional MMA fights. Without wasting time, the birthday boy is actively preparing for the next rating match against Cameroonian Simon Biyong, which will be held on June 22 at the PFL 5 tournament in Salt Lake City.
9. Mauricio Pochettino has left his post as “Chelsea” head coach. The “Aristocrats” terminated the contract with the 52 years old Argentine until the end of the 2024/25 season.
