Following her, Umasofia Srivastava took off the crown of “Miss Teen USA 2023”. The reason is more prosaic: “The discrepancy between personal values and the position of the organization’s management”.
Mothers of beauty pageant contestants who renounced their titles said on “Good Morning America” that their daughters were mistreated, insulted and bullied while performing their duties within the organizations.
“Their dream job turned into a nightmare”, - Umasofia Srivastava’s mother said on “Good Morning America”.
