The Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced a major deal between Turkish Airlines and the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus. The agreement provides for the purchase of 230 new aircraft, which will be a record order in the history of the airline.

Turkish Airlines will add 150 A321NEO aircraft to its fleet, a new generation of narrow-body aircraft renowned for its fuel efficiency and low emissions.

Another 80 aircraft will form the A350 XWB family of wide-body, long-haul aircraft that will provide Turkish Airlines with even greater comfort and range.

For A350 engines, a separate agreement has been concluded with Rolls-Royce. According to it, Rolls-Royce will supply and service Trent XWB engines, one of the most modern and reliable in the world.

Turkish Airlines currently operates more than 400 passenger aircraft and 24 cargo aircraft, flying to 133 countries.
