Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimyradov, during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, informed about the work on introducing a digital system in the economic sector and transferring government services to electronic format, TDH reports.
In this context, information was provided on the practical steps being taken to implement the measures defined in the “State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2021–2025”, including those related to the creation and implementation of automated electronic information databases, ensuring their accessibility and cybersecurity. In particular, it was reported on the draft technical conditions and technical specifications for an identical system in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the Pension Fund of Turkmenistan.
After hearing the report, the head of state focused on the need to further improve the activities of the country’s Pension Fund. Noting the importance of expanding the range of digital services and fully utilizing their potential, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out appropriate work to create automated electronic information databases in this area.
