1. In Turkmenistan, under the auspices of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, a drawing competition has been announced for children under 14 years of age. The event is dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi. The competition will be held in two stages. The awards ceremony for the winners and the presentation of prizes will be held on June 1.
2. The “TurkmenExpo” company announced the holding of the first international exhibition-fair of goods and services for children in Turkmenistan. The event will take place from August 19 to 22 at the exhibition center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The organizers invite Turkmen companies and individual entrepreneurs working in the field of children's services and goods to take part in the exhibition. Kids Expo will provide a new platform to showcase innovative children's products and services, expanding opportunities in the local market.
3. The international film festival “Turan”, organized jointly by TURKSOY and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye, ended in Izmir. Two films from Turkmenistan were awarded special awards and diplomas. The organizers of the film festival also presented an award to the creative association “Turkmenfilm” named after Oguzhan for its contribution to the culture of the Turkic peoples. A total of 1055 films from 77 countries were presented within the framework of the festival's competitive program.
4. The Ambassador of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat held a meeting with members of the Turkmen youth delegation that visited India in March this year. 20 talented young professionals from various fields visited Indian cities, universities and cultural attractions for 10 days, immersing themselves in the unique atmosphere of the country. – Within the framewokr of the India-Central Asia platform, we organized a program for the exchange of youth delegations, and Turkmenistan took part in it for the first time. This program is held annually, and next year a repeat visit of the Turkmen delegation is expected, since youth are the future of our countries, noted the Indian Ambassador.
5. In honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi, with the assistance of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic, a collection of selected works of the great Turkmen poet and thinker was published in the Kyrgyz language. The collection includes 66 poems by the classic of Turkmen literature.
