On April 19, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a law completely banning the sale, distribution and advertising of vapes, electronic cigarettes, as well as liquids and flavors for them, zakon.kz reports.
The law will come into force 60 days after its official publication.
The decision to ban vapes was made in order to protect the health of the population, especially young people, from the negative effects of nicotine-containing substances.
