1. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Turkmenistan Ahsan Vahan, who presented his credentials to the head of state. During the meeting, a detailed exchange of views took place on a wide range of issues of long-term productive cooperation in various sectors of the economy, primarily in the fuel and energy sector, transport and communications.
2. The head of Turkmenistan received the acting Executive Director of the UN-Habitat Program, Michal Mlynar. During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of cooperation, which resulted in a number of measures taken to promote national development and achieve the SDGs. It was also noted that an important step in promoting effective bilateral partnership was the appointment in 2020 of the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN in Geneva at the same time as the Permanent Representative of the UN Human Settlements Program.
3. During the presentation of the Tourism Week of the Republic of Türkiye in Ashgabat, Ambassador Ahmet Demirok said that work will be carried out in the near future to launch direct flights between Ankara and Ashgabat. The diplomat emphasized that this would be an important step in strengthening transport ties and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov on the sidelines of the second Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Strategic Dialogue “Central Asia - Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf”. During the conversation, the parties discussed current issues of deepening Turkmen-Uzbek relations of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership.

During the International Forum to attract foreign investment in the energy sector of Turkmenistan, which will be held on April 24-25 in Paris, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, together with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France and the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to UNESCO, will organize a number of cultural events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi. On April 24, a concert of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan will take place. In addition, from April 22 to 26, there will be an exhibition dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet. The events will take place at UNESCO headquarters.
6. The new consul of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan, Gadam Ilamanov, met with the regional governor, Igor Babushkin. During the meeting, the consul presented Babushkin with a copy of the Consular Exequatur. The governor of the Astrakhan region congratulated Ilamanov on his appointment to the post of consul and wished him success in his activities aimed at developing Turkmen-Russian relations.

9. The Turkmenistan U18 women's team will compete at the Central Asian Football Association CAFA-2024 futsal championship, which will be held from April 19 to 28 in Dushanbe.
