The American company Bark, a famous manufacturer of dog toys, has launched Bark Air charter flights designed exclusively for the transport of dogs and their owners. This is reported by daily.afisha.ru with reference to the New York Post.

So far, Bark Air flights operate only in two directions: from New York to Los Angeles and London. One-way fares range from 6 000 to 8 000 USD, but for that money, dogs and their owners receive premium service.

Unlike regular flights, where small animals travel in carriers in the cabin and large animals travel in the cargo hold, Bark Air provides each four-legged passenger with a separate seat.

Before takeoff and landing, dogs are offered a special drink to help relieve ear congestion. Relaxing music plays in the salon and stewards hand out refreshing lavender-scented towels with pheromones that mimic the animals' natural scents, helping them feel calmer.

In addition, treats, noise-canceling headphones and calming vests are provided for dogs.

Bark Air's first flights will take place in May. Despite the exclusivity of the service, ticket prices caused a wave of criticism on social networks, with many considering them to be unreasonably high.
