A conference dedicated to the third anniversary of the creation of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care was held in the smart city of Arkadag in Turkmenistan, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The conference was attended by deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, members of the Halk Maslahaty, the chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, heads of ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country, elders and journalists.
The forum was preceded by an exhibition of books by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, including the encyclopedic work “Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan”.
Participants got acquainted with domestic pharmaceutical products and medicinal preparations from Turkmen plants. The monitors showed videos and photos telling about the Foundation’s activities to care for children who have lost parental care and need special social support.
In his message to the participants of the event, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that, following the principles of humanism, the Foundation does everything necessary for the comprehensive development of children left without parental care.
Speakers at the forum noted that thanks to the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the policies of the head of state, Turkmenistan is a country of happy childhood, where the dreams of young citizens come true.
