The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a French language week entitled “Le printemps est arrivé dans mon pays” (“Spring has come to my country”), organized by the linguistic circle of the Department of World Languages.
Within the framework of the Week, an exhibition of wall newspapers and student performances with literary readings of Magtymguly’s poems translated into French were held.
Students also took part in a quiz, which became one of the highlights of French Language Week. Quiz participants answered questions related to the history, politics, literature and art of France.
On the final day, the French Institute in Turkmenistan organized the university stage of the competition “Francophonie 2024” among students studying this language, according to the website of the IIR Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
