The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, while on a visit to Brussels at the head of the country's delegation, held negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium Hadja Lahbib, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries discussed the prospects for expanding interaction and the current level of cooperation in the political, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
At the negotiations, mutual readiness was expressed for further development of partnership within the framework of international organizations and expansion of trade and economic ties.
