Vladimir Putin leads with 87,33% in Russian presidential elections

The current head of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, is leading in the presidential elections. Based on the results of processing 99,01% of the protocols of precinct election commissions, he gains 87,32% of the votes. This was reported by “MIR 24” with reference to the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.

In second place is the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Nikolai Kharitonov (4,31% of the votes). The third is the representative of the New People party Vladislav Davankov (3,79%). The LDPR candidate Leonid Slutsky closes the top four (3,19% of the votes).

For the first time in its history, Russia held three-day presidential elections, which were held on March 15-17.
