The TDH news agency published a commentary on Turkmenistan’s global initiatives on the Sustainable Development Goals, announced at the World Government Summit held in Dubai.
The material notes that the proposals put forward by Turkmenistan reflect the country’s constructive and balanced position on the world stage and are aimed at solving systemic issues in key areas of sustainable development.
In particular, we are talking about the creation of three new global mechanisms: the Atlas of Transport Connectivity, the Energy Security Alliance and the program for the transition to a circular economy.
The implementation of these initiatives, as noted by TDH, will contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the field of creating sustainable infrastructure, ensuring access to energy resources and rational consumption.
In addition, the cooperation mechanisms proposed by Turkmenistan were highly appreciated by the participants of the World Summit as an example of finding effective solutions to global challenges based on broad multilateral interaction.
