The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spoke about the main goals of the Program for the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and investments in 2024 during a meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
According to the head of the highest body of people's power of Turkmenistan, the Program is designed to ensure sustainable economic growth of the country and the development of key sectors of the economy and regions.
Among the priorities are achieving full utilization of production capacity, increasing export potential, developing import substitution, and reforming the agro-industrial complex.
The Program also contains measures to expand trade and services, create new jobs, and improve social infrastructure. Particular attention will be paid to the introduction of innovative technologies and digitalization of the economy.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that the Program for the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and investments in 2024 was drawn up on the basis of the achievements of previous years and the long-term development programs currently being successfully implemented.
During its preparation, a detailed analysis of the indicators of all sectors of the economy and regions of the country was carried out in order to most accurately plan further progress.
This approach made it possible to formulate a balanced and justified program of specific measures to achieve sustainable growth in the well-being of the population of Turkmenistan.
