A consultative meeting on the practical application and further implementation of the unified digital platform e-Mekdep in schools of Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat.
The meeting was held at the Innovation and Information Center of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, and was attended by representatives of the Main Department of Education of the city of Ashgabat, directors and deputy directors of the capital’s schools.
As the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports, a pilot version of the e-Mekdep digital platform has already been implemented in many schools in Ashgabat, and it is used by teachers, schoolchildren and their parents.
The e-Mekdep platform includes an “Electronic Journal” and “Electronic Student Diary”, available to parents online.
At the meeting, education representatives shared their experience of using the digital platform, the advantages and details of improvements and the possibility of releasing the e-Mekdep mobile application were also discussed.
