The country's first cat cafe, called Cats&friends, opened in the capital of Uzbekistan.
All the furry inhabitants of the cafe are wards of the “Cute Cats” shelter. All cats are sterilized, treated for parasites and have international passports with all vaccinations. This was reported by darakchi.uz.
Currently there are 12 tailed friends living in the cafe. All conditions for a comfortable life have been created for them. Bringing food with you or feeding your pets with brought food is strictly prohibited.
Cats&friends will introduce a special Saturday - a day for those who dream of finding a furry friend. Those interested will be able to sign up in advance, come, meet the animals and, if they find their “purring” favorite, sign a contract and take it home. Registration is free.
Cats&friends has an anti-cafe concept: visitors pay for the time spent in the cafe. It offers cozy seating areas, free Wi-Fi, and a collection of books and board games. In addition, tea and coffee are provided free of charge upon entry.
