Four-day trainings aimed at preparing young farmers and entrepreneurs to open their own agricultural enterprises were held in Dashoguz velayat.
The event was held by the public organization “Eco-Durmush” with the support of the US Embassy in Turkmenistan.
The trainings, which were attended by 80 people, provided participants with the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge and apply practical skills necessary to successfully run a farming business.
One of the key aspects of the training was the study of different forms of ownership, where participants learned the advantages and disadvantages of each of them, as well as the procedures associated with registration, obtaining licenses and maintaining records.
The training ended with active discussion and exchange of experience.
In addition, to prepare young farmers, entrepreneurs and managers for modern agricultural challenges, intensive training on the main aspects of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) was conducted in Dashoguz velayat.
The sessions emphasized the important role of international organizations in stimulating agricultural development, with particular attention to supporting young farmers and the potential for cooperation.
Involving youth in the creation of farming startups is aimed at developing agriculture in the Dashoguz region and the country’s economy as a whole.
