President Serdar Berdimuhamedov appointed Bayramgul Motyevna Orazdurdyeva as the new Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, releasing her from her post as rector of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University. The head of state signed the corresponding Decree during an extended meeting of the Government, the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper reported today.
In this post, Orazdurdyeva replaced Atayeva Gurbangul Kakalyevna, who was relieved of her position “in connection with a transfer to another job”.
Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva was born in 1975 in the city of Gyzylarbat, Balkan velayat. In 1996 she graduated from the Magtymguly Turkmen State University. By profession - lawyer.
She began her career in 1996 as a teacher at the Department of Constitutional Law at Magtymguly TSU.
She completed her postgraduate studies at the same university in the period 1996–1998.
From 1998 to 2014, she held various positions at Magtymguly TSU.
In 2013, she was elected as a deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fourth convocation.
In 2014–2017 – Deputy Minister of Education for Higher and Secondary Vocational Educational Institutions.
Since 2017 – Rector of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
She was awarded the anniversary medals Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 25 ýyllygyna and Türkmenistanyň Garaşsyzlygynyň 30 ýyllygyna.
