The final document of the International Forum “Dialogue is a Guarantee of Peace”, held on December 11 last year in Ashgabat, was published in the six official languages of the UN and distributed as an official document of the 78th session of the General Assembly, reported the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The document was published within the framework of the agenda items of the General Assembly session dedicated to the culture of peace, peacebuilding and the zone of peace in Central Asia. He emphasizes the importance of the global campaign to promote peaceful dialogue, initiated by Turkmenistan within the framework of the International Year of Dialogue declared by the UN as a guarantee of peace.
The implemented global initiative contributed to the mobilization of the international community to work together to strengthen trust and mutual understanding between countries. The document notes the key role of dialogue in conflict prevention, as well as the importance of engaging women and youth to shape an inclusive and sustainable future.
