“Roma” announced the termination of the contract with head coach Jose Mourinho. This is stated in a statement by the press service of the Roman club.
As noted, the decision to leave the 60 years old specialist was made in the interests of the club. “We thank Jose and his assistants for their work and wish them all the best”, - the statement said.
The Portuguese coach will take charge of “Roma” in the summer of 2021. Previously, he worked for clubs such as “Manchester United”, “Tottenham”, “Chelsea”, “Real Madrid”, “Inter” and “Porto”.
The Roman club will appoint a new head coach in the near future, according to a press release. The team is in 9th place in Serie A after 20 games.
