A new gastronomic trend has emerged in China: cakes shaped like dishwashing sponges. They look so natural that they can easily be confused with real sponges. “MIR 24” reports this.
Cakes are made from ordinary sponge cake, to which dyes are added. To imitate soap suds and cleaning products, use sugar and syrup beaten with egg whites.
