The 10th annual camel trek through the desert has ended in the UAE. 37 riders from 16 countries took part in it. They covered a distance of 550 kilometers, walking from Arada in Abu Dhabi to the Global Village multicultural park in Dubai. This was reported by russianemirates.com.
The trek route included visits to attractions such as Tal Merab and the Qasr Al Sarab Nature Reserve. In preparation for the trek, all participants underwent two months of training, during which they learned the skills of driving a camel, traveling in a caravan and surviving in the desert.
The hike became an unforgettable journey into the past for the participants. They got acquainted with the traditions and life of the Bedouins, and also mastered survival skills in the desert. The event is held annually and is open to everyone over the age of 18.
