Innovative technologies and world-class equipment have been introduced in the new Oncology Center of the “smart” city of Arkadag in Turkmenistan. This will significantly increase the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment of cancer in the country, as reported by the director of the Center, Rejep Orazberdiyev, in his article “High-tech medicine of the city of Arkadag” for the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”.
According to him, thanks to modern diagnostic equipment, it has become possible to detect various forms of cancer in the early stages. This is a priority area of the clinic’s work.
The Center has introduced all methods of palliative care aimed at improving the quality of life of patients and their families faced with a problem associated with an incurable disease.
The Center has created excellent conditions for the comfort of patients and the efficient work of specialists. Patients are accommodated in 2-bed comfortable rooms with all amenities.
In addition, educational work on the importance of prevention and regular examinations has been intensified. In October, the first conference dedicated to the month of prevention of malignant neoplasms was held.
