The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, instructed the President of Turkmenistan to organize duty throughout the country during the New Year celebrations. Relevant instructions were made at a joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council, writes TDH.
“It is necessary to appoint a duty officer for each hyakimlik, ministry and line department,” said Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
At the same time, emphasis was placed on the importance of ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted functioning of public utilities, electricity and water supply, hospitals, public transport and shops.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also instructed relevant leaders to maintain strict control over the general observance of law and order so that citizens can have a good rest and celebrate the New Year.
In order to create proper conditions for people to have a good rest on holidays, interesting performances should be organized in cultural and entertainment institutions, theaters and circuses in the country, and interesting programs should be broadcast on television and radio channels, the head of state emphasized.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also instructed to keep under strict control the movement of public transport in cities and villages and the uninterrupted provision of communication services to the population during the New Year holiday.
"Trade services must be properly organized for residents of the country and an abundance of goods in a wide range must be ensured in markets and stores,” the head of state said.
