Kyrgyzstan joined the Group of Friends of Neutrality initiated by Turkmenistan

The Kyrgyz Republic has officially become a member of the Group of Friends of Neutrality for Peace, Security and Sustainable Development, created at the initiative of Turkmenistan, according to the website of the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the UN.

Kyrgyzstan's membership in the group is intended to strengthen the commitment of its members to further strengthen peace and security at the regional and global levels based on the principles of neutrality.

The Group of Friends of Neutrality is an informal international platform aimed at promoting neutrality to achieve global peace and security. Recognizing the importance of neutrality, the Group seeks to establish interstate dialogue, strengthen trust and cooperation between countries.

The new members will make a valuable contribution to the work of the Group and will help harness the potential of the policy of neutrality to build a secure and sustainable future.
