Prospects for the development of trade and economic cooperation and possible joint projects were discussed by Turkmenistan and Russia at the 9th meeting of the High-Level Group for the Support of Trade and Investment within the framework of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation, reports the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation.
The issues on the agenda also included improving mutual trade, cooperation in the fields of energy, industry and personnel training.
The Turkmen delegation during the negotiations was led by Deputy Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Kerim Kurbanov. The Russian part of the group was headed by Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Volvach.
Following the meeting, a Protocol was signed.
