The State Concern Turkmengas is modernizing its gas compressor stations in partnership with German companies. Deputy Prime Minister for Fuel and Energy Complex Batyr Amanov reported this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on Friday, TDH writes.
Agreements on cooperation with German partners were reached during the visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Germany on September 28-29.
In addition to improving the operation of gas compressor stations, Turkmengas also plans to work with German companies to introduce modern technologies, the latest scientific and engineering developments.
Summarizing the report of the Deputy Prime Minister, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of modernizing the fuel and energy complex and instructed to continue work to expand international cooperation in this direction.
