The Turkish Culture Days in Turkmenistan ended with the presentation of the collection of the Türkiye dokuma atlası project

On Monday evening, the Turkish Culture Days in Turkmenistan ended with a spectacular event - a display of clothes made from famous Turkish fabrics within the framework of the Türkiye dokuma atlası project. The event was held in the Exhibition Hall of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan.

The quality of Turkish textiles has been honed over centuries. Particularly famous are the fabrics of Anatolia, the historical region of Türkiye where weaving originated 9000 years ago.

At present time, Türkiye has launched a state program for the preservation and use of traditional techniques for making high-quality fabrics - as one of the components of the national heritage.

A film about the history and current state of Turkish weaving was shown to the guests of the event.

The collection of clothes presented, which the girls demonstrated on the catwalk, was distinguished by its diversity, relevance, and most importantly, made from the best fabrics created using traditional technologies.
