On Thursday, November 16, the match of the first round of the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament in Group “E” will take place, in which the national teams of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will play. The meeting will take place at the Ashgabat stadium, the game starts at 19:00.
According to the press service of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, on the eve of the meeting, on November 15, the match participants will hold press conferences at the Ashgabat multifunctional stadium.
The head coach of the Turkmenistan national team, Mergen Orazov, and the coach of the Uzbek team, Srechko Katanets, will answer journalists’ questions. The events will begin at 18:00 local time.
