Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Berdyniyaz Matiyev took part in the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Turkic States (CMFA OTS) in Astana, reports the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
At the meeting, participants reviewed and agreed on draft documents for signing at the highest level. The results of Uzbekistan’s chairmanship in the OTS were also summed up and the priorities for the upcoming chairmanship of Kazakhstan were determined.
Particular attention was paid to key areas of industry cooperation within the Organization, in particular in the field of economics and transport. A joint action plan for the implementation of the Transport Communications Program of the Turkic States for 2023-2027 was approved.
The prospects for expanding the interaction of the OTS with other international and regional organizations were also discussed.
