“The Hunger Games” will be staged on the theater stage, Film.ru reported.
The script for the theatrical play based on the book of the same name by Suzanne Collins will be written by Connor McPherson. Who will be involved in the main roles has not yet been announced.
The Hunger Games franchise of survival games ran from 2012 to 2015, grossing nearly 3 billion USD at the box office. Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth.
The Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Snakes and Songbirds, will be released in November 2023.
