French composer Pierre Tilois will visit Ashgabat again: he will personally attend the Turkmen-French concert, which will take place on November 4.
As we previously reported, this concert is unique in that the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan will be led by the young French conductor David Yurpo. The orchestra will perform French and Turkmen works, including works by Pierre Tilois, who will personally attend the concert, reports the French Institute in Ashgabat.
Let us recall that Pierre Tilois, inspired by national and classical Turkmen music, came to Ashgabat in June to write an original concert for the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan. During his visit, he met with music lovers and youth of Ashgabat to communicate with them on the topic of composing.
The French Institute notes that admission to the concert is by tickets, which are already on sale.
