1. Today, the II Theatre Festival of the International Organization of Turkic Culture member countries start in Ashgabat. The opening ceremony was held at the Main Academic Drama Theatre named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashy the Great. The festival brings together not only theatre figures, but also artists from six Turkic states: Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

4. The closing ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan was held at the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center. The central event of the program was a classical music concert “Towards the Anniversary of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky”, where the soloist of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic Dmitry Masleev performed works by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov. Within the framework of the Days of Culture, the Turkmen public was presented with the exhibition “Planet Tchaikovsky” from the Russian National Museum of Music, an exposition of works of applied art “Patchwork Mosaic of Russia” and a photo exhibition of works by Russian photo artists. The Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan is actively researching new sources related to the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people. In the year of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi, this work has acquired special significance. Recently, the Institute's researchers returned from Germany, where they studied the manuscript collections of the Berlin and Dresden libraries. They brought electronic copies of valuable sources related to Magtymguly and Turkmen history. As a result of the expedition to Turkmenistan, there were more than 200 electronic copies of manuscripts in the Turkic, Persian and Arabic languages.

6. Turkmenistan is preparing to become the epicenter of innovation and technological progress. From November 14 to 16, Ashgabat will host the International Conference “Turkmentel-2024”. The forum's program covers a wide range of topics: from digital development and the future of telecommunications to satellite technologies and cybersecurity. The event will bring together scientists, experts and entrepreneurs from all over the world.

7. An important environmental initiative will be considered at the upcoming meeting of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity in the Colombian city of Cali.
