Richard Wiseman, a professor at the University of Herdfordshire in the UK, advised right-handers on a new method of losing weight, writes Central News Service.
According to the professor, to avoid overeating, it is enough for a right-handed person to take a cutlery (spoon or fork) in his left hand. This method also works for left-handed people - in this case it is recommended to eat with the right hand.
The scientist reports that in this way you can trick the brain and stimulate a feeling of fullness. Unusual movements of the non-working hand force you to eat food more slowly, so the brain gets the feeling of taking a larger portion.
Another psychological life hack that allows you to eat less is to eat while looking at your reflection in the mirror.
