1. The State Migration Service of Turkmenistan hosted a solemn ceremony of presenting passports to persons granted citizenship of the country. According to the Presidential Decree, 1301 people received Turkmenistan citizenship. In addition, 265 persons were issued residence permits in the country.

2. By decree of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Meretdurdy Abdyllayev was appointed consul of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aktau city.

3. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Governor of the Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin. During the meeting, the parties stated that recently the relationship between Turkmenistan and the Astrakhan region has been characterized by active dynamics. It was noted that in the future, the maximum realization of the potential of the Turkmenbashy International Seaport will be in great demand. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his readiness to consider constructive proposals for the use of transport and transit opportunities between the port of Turkmenbashy and the ports of the Astrakhan region.

4. The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution on awarding mothers who actively participate in the public life of the country with the Order of Zenan kalby.

5. A competition in educational robotics, organized jointly by UNICEF and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, was held at Ashgabat school № 97. The event was aimed at raising awareness among schoolchildren, teachers and parents about the pedagogical benefits of educational robotics and motivating them to explore this educational area. The outstanding projects were awarded valuable prizes, including TVs, tablets, robotics kits and smart watches.

6. An international media forum dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence was held in Ashgabat. The event was organized by the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography. The forum was attended by representatives of specialized structures, television and radio channels, print media, including representatives of about 100 foreign media.

7. Ethiopian customs authorities have temporarily banned the export of Ethiopian coffee in any form or quantity by air passengers. Those leaving Ethiopia were advised to take into account the ban in order to avoid unpleasant situations at the airport. Coffee is considered the main export crop for Ethiopia. According to the International Coffee Organization, Ethiopia is the leading African country in coffee production and ranks fifth in the world for this indicator, behind only Brazil, Vietnam, Colombia and Indonesia.

8. The first batch of electric vehicles for the capital's eco-taxi arrived in Bishkek. The project to introduce eco-taxi in the capital of Kyrgyzstan is part of an initiative to develop environmentally friendly transport in Bishkek and reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere. Eco-taxi drivers will be able to obtain a license to drive this type of transport on a special yellow lane. They will also have the opportunity to purchase such cars for taxi use on lease and the right to use electric vehicle charging at a reduced rate at municipal electric charging station locations.

9. Judoka Maysa Pardayeva won a bronze medal at the XIX Summer Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. This award was the first for the Turkmen team. The 18 years old student of the Lebap wrestling school achieved this success in the weight category up to 57 kg, in which 16 athletes competed for medals. Let us remind that at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, Maysa Pardayeva was one of the standard bearers of the Turkmenistan team at the opening ceremony of the Games.

10. Turkmen tennis players went to Tashkent to prepare for the Davis Cup and junior tournaments. The Turkmen team's three-week training camp will be held at the world-famous Iroda Tulyaganova Tennis Academy. After the training camp, the men's team of Turkmenistan will take part in the Davis Cup, which will be held in Antalya from October 16 to 23, and the youth team will take part in two open championships of the Asian Tennis Federation under 14 years old in Bukhara and Karshi, which will be held from October 14 to 28.

11. With a convincing victory over the Maldives team - 22:2, the Turkmenistan team started in the 3x3 basketball tournament at the XIX Summer Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. To defeat the opponent with a difference of 20 points, Toyli Bayriev’s team needed only 6 minutes 55 seconds. The 3x3 basketball tournament at the Asian Games involves players no older than 23 years old. 19 teams, divided into 4 groups, take part in the men's competition. The national team of Turkmenistan with the teams of Japan, the Republic of Korea, Iran and the Maldives play in group “B”. According to the tournament regulations, the group winners will immediately advance to the quarterfinals. And the teams that take 2-3 places in the groups will compete for the right to play in the 1/4 finals.

12. The schedule of the first matches of the 1/2 finals of the Turkmenistan Football Cup has become known. The first meeting in the confrontation between “Altyn Asyr” and “Arkadag” will be in Ashgabat on September 27. On the same day, will be the first match in the “Merv” – “Ahal” pair will.
