A declaration of friendly agreement on twinning between the cities of Arkadag and Maisons-Laffite was signed on Tuesday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Catherine Colonna. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports this.
During the joint meeting, the following documents were also signed:
- Cooperation program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France for 2024-2026;
- Memorandum of cooperation in the field of education;
- Agreement on cooperation between the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Union de Banques Arabes et Françaises – U.B.A.F.
Let us remind that from September 4 to 5, a Turkmen delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov was in France on a working visit.
