On September 7, a two-day international tourism forum "A new stage of cooperation between the CIS member states in the field of tourism" opens in Dushanbe. The forum is attended by heads of tourism administrations, business circles and experts in the tourism industry of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Turkmenistan will be represented at the international profile event by the head of the Department of Tourism of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan Akyniyaz Agamyradov and the director of the travel company Bahtiyar Dostlar Ruslan Sadykov.
The participants of the tourism forum will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and identify areas of multilateral cooperation during the work of three panel thematic sessions on the creation of joint tourism products, the digitalization of tourism services and the development of tourism clusters in the CIS.
Also, within the framework of the event, the exhibition "Dushanbe-2023" will be held, which will provide visual information about the possibilities of medical-ecological and historical-cultural tourism in Tajikistan and in the CIS countries.
The business program of the tourist forum includes meetings and negotiations between tour operators from different countries.
The International Tourism Forum is held by the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan jointly with the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on the eve of the World Tourism Day celebrated on September 27.
